APPRENTICESHIP TO START SEPTEMBER 2022 UPON SATIFACTORY COMPLETION OF 2 WEEK WORK PLACEMENT TRIAL

 

We are excited to offer someone the opportunity to join our highly skilled workforce.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join us on a 4 year apprenticeship.

This position is for the full, 4 years training, leading to a possible full time career within our company, upon completion of qualifications.

The successful candidate will be expected to attend college on a day release basis (may require an evening class as you progress), with the remaining 4 days onsite or in the workshop. 

All training and college fees will be funded.

Throughout the 4 years training you will gain the knowledge and skillset required to legally and competently carry out all plumbing, heating and domestic gas works. 

Upon completion of the apprenticeship you will be qualified to nationally recoginsed, advanced NVQ 3 (adjudicated by external assessment.)

Pay rates inline with current JIB-PMES

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working for a multitude of varying clientelle within various environmental settings, you will be an integral part of our expert team by working withcolleagues to deliver the highest of standards, whilst developing your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship.



ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

All candidates are required to meet the minimum essential requirements set out below.

 

  • GCSEs Grade C/4 or above or equivalent must include English & Maths (further studies may be available alongside apprenticeship in order to achieve grades)
  • Working as part of a team (This could be in a sporting, educational, work or social setting)
  • Logical thinker to solve problems
  • Ability to work in an organised and methodical way to analyse and solve problems
  • Ability to work carefully, methodically and safely
  • Ability to organise own workload and work effectively under pressure

APPRENTICESHIP QUALIFICATION:

You will be given appropriate paid time to attend college on a day release basis and work towards completion of the Plumbing and Domestic Heating Level 3 NVQ Qualification (may require evening class, as your career progresses)

APPLICATION PROCESS:

Upon receipt of your C.V, prospective candidates will be invited to a quick, informal interview (possibly online, depending on available time constraints).

After the interview process the chosen candidate will be offered a 2 week trial.

Upon completion of the 2 week trial, a decision will take place as to whether you are suited for the roll and if the roll suits you to advance in a career with us.

If all parties are suited, you will be enrolled in a local college. (to be decided upon suitable candidate location)

Once enrolled, you will be given all details of the college to be attended.
